Undertake independent third-party peer review of onsite wastewater design for major highway service centre on the Hume Highway, NSW

An independent third party peer review was undertaken on the design of a 35kL/day treatment system for twin highway service centres at Pheasant’s Nest on the Hume Highway, NSW. The proposed system incorporated a package treatment plant and disposal to a large field of 22 evapotranspiration absorption beds. The review identified various areas where design modifications were required to meet regulatory requirements and enabled Council to draw up appropriate conditions for approval.
